ADAPTER

We have some adapters available at the reception. We would add a deposit of 10 € on your bill, cancelled when you return it on departure.

ADDITIONAL BED

None of our rooms can accommodate an extra bed.

AIR CONDITIONING

Your room is equipped with an individual thermostat allowing you to adjust the ambient temperature in air conditioning in summer and heating in winter. The remote control box is located on the wall of your room. Do not hesitate to contact the reception if necessary.

AIRPORT

– Charles de Gaulle is located about 25 km north of Paris. It takes between 45 and 75 minutes by car depending on traffic.

– Orly is located about 15 km south of Paris. It takes between 30 and 60 minutes by car depending on traffic.

ATM

ATMs are located near the hotel. The nearest bank is BNP Paribas at 19 Rue Lagrange, 75005 Paris.

AWAKENING

Contact the reception to wake you up whenever you want. Dial “9” on your phone.

BABY COT

At your request, we can put a cot in your room free of charge. A changing mat, a high chair and a bottle warmer are available on request.

BABY SITTING

The Hotel can organize the occasional care of your children according to availability. Please make the request as soon as possible so that we can do the necessary.

BANK

There are many banks located near the hotel. The closest one is BNP Paribas at 19 Rue Lagrange, 75005 Paris.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served as a buffet from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the breakfast room, which is located on the ground floor, but you can also request it in your room in continental form. To do so, call the reception.

CAR RENTAL

We can help you reserve a car at one of the local agencies. The closest one is SIXT at 6 rue des Quatre Vents, 75006.

CHARGER

We have a few mobile phone chargers. If you have forgotten yours, do not hesitate to ask at reception.

CHECK-IN

The rooms are at your disposal from 2 p.m. In case of early arrival, we would be happy

to provide you with your room if it is already available.

CHECK-OUT

We ask you to leave the room before noon but do not hesitate to ask the reception if you wish to leave later. Late departure fees may be charged.

In case of interruption of stay before the term, notify us 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, we will charge you the value of one night, except for non-cancellable and non-modifiable reservations (the entire stay).

COMPUTER

You will find a computer at your disposal on the ground floor to check your emails and print your boarding pass.

CONCIERGE SERVICE

The reception team will be happy to help you with any reservation request for a restaurant, theatre, visit to Paris or the surrounding area.

DOCTOR

If necessary, contact the reception. We can have an SOS doctor intervene on-site or find you an appointment with a practitioner as soon as possible.

DO NOT DISTURB

When you don’t want to be disturbed, hang the sign on your door. Be aware that housekeeping will not be done if you forget the do not disturb card all day.

DRY CLEANING

The service is available every day except Sunday. Bags and index cards are available in your closet. Any clothing removed before 10 a.m. will be returned the same evening. Please call reception to either pick up the bag or drop it off.

ELECTRICITY

In Europe, the voltage is 220 Volts. Be careful, the socket in the bathroom is only suitable for the electric razor.

EXCHANGE

We do not exchange money within the hotel and only accept payments in Euros. If you want to change your money, the exchange offices are located very close to the hotel. The nearest one is at 19 boulevard Saint Michel.

EXCURSION

Brochures are available at reception. Do not hesitate to ask at the reception to make a reservation.

FAX

Our fax number is 01 43 26 17 14. We can receive and send faxes from reception—price according to the destination and the number of pages.

FIRE

In the event of an alarm, do not panic and call reception to find out the cause. In case of fire, read the safety instructions posted on your bedroom door. Do not take the elevator and take the nearest emergency exit.

FITNESS ROOM

You have access to the fitness room located in our partner hotel, the Luxembourg Parc, located 5 minutes away on foot. The address is 42 rue de Vaugirard.

FLOWERS

At your request, we can put a bouquet in your room—price according to your budget.

ICE CUBES

You can get ice cubes free of charge at the hotel bar 24 hours a day.

IRONING

At your request, we will provide you with an iron and an ironing board.

LUGGAGE ROOM

The Luggage room is at your disposal to leave your suitcases before check-in and after Check-out.

MASSAGE

We can arrange for a masseur to come to your room or make an appointment at different locations nearby.

The messages are kept with your keys. We will send them to you when you enter or leave the hotel.

PARKING

The hotel does not have private parking. The nearest public parking lot is Parking Lagrange Maubert, located at 15 rue Lagrange, 75005, which costs approximately €50 for 24 hours. The maximum height of your vehicle cannot exceed 1.85 meters.

RESTAURANT

The reception desk will be happy to advise you and make restaurant reservations. Here are a few examples of the many restaurants in the neighborhood: Atelier Maître Albert at 1 rue Maitre Albert, Respiro, in front of the hotel, at 18 rue Maître Albert, Bistrot 65 at 65 Quai Tournelle, and Le Petit Pontoise at 9 rue de Pontoise.

ROOM CLEANING

The maids maintain the rooms between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. We kindly ask you to open your window and turn off the air conditioning before you leave the room. You can specify the time of the intervention of the floor staff at the reception.

If you want to have your bath linen replaced, put it on the floor or in the shower.

ROOM-SERVICE

In collaboration with some restaurants in the neighbourhood, we propose hot meal delivery between noon and 2 p.m. and between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Please approach the reception to obtain the menus and prices. We accept also delivery ordered by yourself from external companies as Uber Eat or Deliveroo. We will receive the delivery and inform you.

SAFE

An individual safe is at your disposal in the closet of your room. It is recommended to deposit your valuables there; the hotel cannot be held responsible in the event of loss or disappearance in your room.

Responsible stay

Because the environment concerns us all, the hotel de Notre Dame is involved in a sustainable tourism approach. During your stay, you can help us by adopting a few simple eco-gestures.

PRESERVE WATER

– We change your towels at your convenience : simply put the towels to change in the bath or on the floor.

– We usually change the sheets every 2 days but, at your request, we can extend this period in order to reject less detergent in the water. Please contact reception.

– Remember to close the taps when you brush your teeth and not to let the water run unnecessarily : a 5 minutes shower consumes 40 to 50 liters, each additional minute consumes 10 liters more.

– Be sure to only throw toilet paper in the toilet, a trash can is available in the bathroom. Cigarette butts, periodic protection and other wastes affect the proper functioning of the treatment plant. – Do not hesitate to inform us of any leak or other anomaly concerning water.

IN YOUR ROOM, KEEP THE GOOD REFLEXES

– Use heating and air conditioning sparingly. It will always be better for your health !

– If you open the windows, remember to turn off the heating or air conditioning.

– Please turn off the lights and Tv when leaving your room.

TRAVEL WITHOUT POLLUTING

Dear guests, in order to reduce the CO2 impact of your stay, we suggest you during your stay to use public transportation in the city of Paris. You can also rent bicycles (“Velib”) available throughout the city of Paris (the people at the reception are at your disposal to inform you about this). However, if you wish to take a taxi, we suggest that you orient your choice towards electric vehicles.


Welcome and remarks

PERSON WITH DISABILITIES

Our staff is aware of the reception of people with disabilities and we don’t have room fitted out and up to standard to accommodate them. Our staff is not trained explicitly for full support.

DEGRADATION

Your room has been checked before your arrival. You are invited to report any breach to the reception upon your arrival. If not reported, the hotel reserves the right to charge the customer for any damage to the interior and exterior furniture, deterioration, or theft (linen or other), up to the amount incurred.

REMARKS AND COMPLAINTS

Please make your comments to the hotel staff so they can react quickly. However, a complaint book is available in the entrance. Please leave your contact details so that we can respond to you quickly.

RESPECT OTHER GUESTS

To respect the rest of the other guests, be careful not to slam the doors or make too much noise, especially between 9 pm and 9 am. In general, parents are responsible for their minor children. It is forbidden to run or shout in the establishment day and night.
